Who we are

Signature Nails & Beauty by Rina is the controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at Saint Oliver Plunkett Road, Pearse Road, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, F92 YK06, through our contact form, by calling the salon on 087 342 7175, or by calling the Training Academy on 087 117 1635.

Information we use

If you call, email, or use the enquiry form, we use the contact details and information you provide to answer you and discuss treatments, availability, bookings, or training. The form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, service choice, and message.

You do not have to provide this information, but we cannot answer a form enquiry without your contact details and message. Please do not include health, financial, or other sensitive information in the form.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to take steps you request before a booking or training agreement. For general questions, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

We use Cloudflare for website hosting, form processing, spam protection and enquiry email delivery. Cloudflare receives standard request information such as your IP address, requested page, date and time, and browser or device information. We use this to deliver, secure, and maintain the website, based on our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. This sends your IP address, the requested URL, and browser headers to Google so it can provide the font files. Google states that Google Fonts does not set or log cookies and does not use this information to profile visitors or target advertising. See Google Fonts privacy and data collection.

Who receives it

Information is available only where needed to us and the providers that host the website, process the form, filter spam, deliver email and fonts, and provide the analytics described below.

The form sends your enquiry through Cloudflare to our email inbox. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and request information to help prevent automated spam. We do not maintain a separate website database of enquiries. Cloudflare may process information internationally; see its Data Processing Addendum for processing and international transfer terms.

Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, phone, and email are links only. If you open one, that separate service or app handles your information under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry records only while needed to answer you, manage any resulting booking or training relationship, meet legal obligations, or deal with a claim. Enquiries are kept in our email inbox and any resulting correspondence; there is no separate website submission archive. Host, email, and security records follow the providers' operational and legal retention schedules.

Website analytics

On www.signaturenails.ie, we use self-hosted Umami, operated by Crintus & Co, to understand page visits and use of call, email, and enquiry links, including successful form submissions. This helps us improve the website, based on our legitimate interest in understanding how it is used.

Umami requests include the page path and title, referring website origin, browser language, screen size, and fixed interaction names. Page query strings and fragments, referrer paths, and submitted form contents are excluded. The service processes IP addresses and browser information for aggregate session, device, and location statistics. We do not add custom user identifiers or use session recording or advertising trackers. Umami does not use cookies or browser storage for this tracking. Analytics is disabled on preview and local sites and when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Google Analytics and your consent

If you accept optional analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand page visits, phone and email clicks, and successful enquiries. Our basis for this processing is your consent. Google tracking does not load before you accept or after you reject. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer; this removes the analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop Google tracking.

Google receives technical request information, including your IP address and browser information, and uses analytics cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Our Google configuration supplies the page address without query strings or fragments and only the referring website's origin. Our enquiry-success event contains no name, email, phone number, service choice, or message. We disable Google signals and advertising personalisation and do not enable Google Ads tracking.

Google may process data outside Ireland. See Google's privacy policy and Google's data processing terms for its processing and transfer arrangements. Our analytics cookies expire after 180 days; Google's retention of analytics records is separate and follows the property's retention settings and Google's terms. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking but does not delete information already collected. See our Cookie Policy for storage and preference details.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. You may also raise a concern with Ireland's Data Protection Commission.

Automated decisions and changes

We do not use this website to make automated decisions about you or profile you. We will update this policy when how the website uses personal data changes.
