Current use
On www.signaturenails.ie, we use cookieless Umami analytics and, only with your permission, Google Analytics cookies and Google Tag Manager. We do not enable Google Ads tracking, advertising personalisation, session recording, or embedded social media or maps.
Optional Google analytics
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only after you select Accept in our cookie banner. They help us understand visits, phone and email clicks, and successful enquiries. Rejecting these cookies does not affect the website or enquiry form. They remain disabled on preview and local sites, and when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_8RJS685X86 cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. We configure these cookies to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. We do not send enquiry contents to analytics. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
Your cookie choice
After you accept or reject, we store signature-google-consent-v1 in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days. It contains your choice and its expiry time, not a visitor identifier. It remembers the preference you request. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting after accepting removes the Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop Google tracking. This does not delete information already collected. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved choice.
Cookieless analytics
Self-hosted Umami, operated by Crintus & Co, measures page visits and call, email, and enquiry interactions without analytics cookies or browser storage. Submitted form contents are not sent to analytics. Tracking is disabled on preview and local sites and when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. See our Privacy Policy for the request information involved.
Session storage
The homepage competition notice is currently disabled. When enabled, it uses one browser session-storage item:
- Name:
signature-modal:competition-2026-08-01 - Purpose: remembers that you closed the notice or followed its Facebook link so it does not reopen during the same browser session.
- Duration: until the browser ends that page session.
The item contains only the word dismissed. The site does not send it to us or any third party, and it does not identify you. It is set only after you make that choice.
Third-party requests and links
The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated spam and Cloudflare Email Service to deliver your message. Turnstile processes technical browser and request information for this security check. We do not enable Turnstile pre-clearance cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and our Privacy Policy. JavaScript is required for the protected form; phone and email links remain available without it.
Google Fonts files are requested when a page loads, but Google states that its Fonts service does not set or log cookies. See Google Fonts privacy and data collection. Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, email, and phone are links only. Those services may process information after you choose to open them under their own policies.
Essential functions and cookieless analytics
Your cookie choice applies to optional Google analytics. The preference storage, competition-notice session storage, form security checks, and cookieless Umami analytics described above operate separately.
